Hardskills has been awarded a certificate of publication by the Swedish Press, Radio and Television Authority. A certificate of publication is a measure and a decision by the authorities which means that publication and the database (the entire Hardskills.io website) are covered and protected by the Freedom of Expression Act (YGL). When a publication certificate is issued by the authority, a responsible publisher has been appointed and registered, as has the name of the service (in this case database). Our responsible publisher is Rasmus Palazzi and the name of the database is "Hardskills, Hardskills.io".
Our publishing certificate is valid until October 2031-11-28.
GDPR does not apply to public Hardskills data
The European regulation GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) replaced the former Personal Data Act (PuL) in Sweden in 2018. As before the GDPR came into force, the regulation allows member states to make exceptions to the regulation if this is necessary to uphold the right to freedom of expression. This means that the GDPR does not apply to the service Hardskills.io or other services that have been awarded a publishing licence - which thus possess the same constitutional protection as constitutionally protected mass media.
We naturally want the information published about you to be accurate. Should you discover any inaccuracies in the information, we recommend that you contact the authority handling the backend data, in this case the European Patent Office (EPO).
Information stored about logged in users, and website visitors in general, does not fall under the Freedom of Expression Act and is therefore not exempt from GDPR. More information about how we treat your personal data can be found in the documents “Privacy Policy”, “Cookie Policy” and “Terms of end user"
